This list is more geared to "coordinating BSD wireless driver" specific
issues, rather then general 802.11 Q&A. Try flagging down a local guru
group via <http://www.freenetworks.org/>.
What NICs are using at each end? How long of coax runs (try to limit as
much as possible)? Use thicker cable. Get better directional antennas
(I've heard of >40dBi dishes).
