Hi all, I'm reading bsd-wireless for a while and found interesting things here so I decided to ask a question. I've been using Cisco AiroNET for building something like a backbone infrastructure and I have NO PROBLEMS with it running under BSD (all of them). My friends, however, wants to use AVAYA Wireless PCMCIA + PCI-2-PCMCIA to connect a router to my wireless network. I saw the card is supported in FreeBSD 4.6 and above. What I want is to know are there any dificulties running this card (avay wireless) with Free/Open/Net/MicroBSD. Any specific settings/patches/configuration trics. Any experience and information about speed, rx/tx rates are welcome. Does it work stable with *BSD (which flavour) etc. Thanks in advance.
