Good HostAP card for OpenBSD

I'm wanting to set up an openbsd access point by this coming friday and I'm wonder what a good card would be.  I grabbed a Linksys pci card I had, and openbsd works fine with it but it doesn't seem to work in hostap mode.  IBSS works fine, and as far as I can tell from the bits of documentation I can find, it *should* work in hostap mode because it's a prism2.5-based card.

Here's what wicontrol says:
Card info:                   [ Unknown PRISM II chip, Firmware 1.4.2 ]

Any ideas?  All I was doing for testing was trying different variations of wicontrol parameters with a laptop watching the air with netstumbler.  Kick it into hostap mode and netstumbler doesn't see anything.  IBSS netstumbler will find.
