The driver should not be as difficult to write as the ADMtek driver, since Realtek's documentation is much more complete. The Realtek radio I have (made by LanReady.com) has fewer parts than any ADMtek radio I have seen. This is mostly owing to its using a Philips SA2400, which integrates a zero-IF radio and a synthesizer.
