Hello I'm having this problem: Senao prism card with 1.1.1 1.7.4 firmware. If I use this one with the if_wi module; FreeBSD 5.0 I configure it in hostap mode (i.e. ap mode) and I give it a ssid. I'm not able to connect with it (senao 1.1.1 1.5.6) using #ifconfig ssid "" The strange thing is that it is working the other way around i.e. the 1.5.6 as AP and the 1.7.4 as client. The other strange thing is that it works both ways using the linux hostap driver 0.0.4 and cvs version. I'm currently working on a patch for the FreeBSD driver. This patch includes the blocking of a blank or "ANY" ssid. And the blocking of ssid broadcasting. Does anybody know something that could lead to the answer, so that I can get this fixed.
