When my driver for Lucent/Prism receives an interrupt, if I read the event status register, I handle only a few of the events indicated in the register, I acknowledge the events I handle, and then I exit, will I receive a second hardware interrupt right away, because I left some events unacknowledged? Does it depend in any way whether I disable and re-enable interrupts at the top and bottom of my interrupt handler? I guess another way of asking this is, "Are interrupts from Lucent and Prism adapters edge- or level-triggered?" The Prism programmer's manual is silent on the question.
