Need Help with LinkSys WTC11 and WPC11 on Linux

Has anyone made the WCT11/WPC11 combination work under RedHat 7.3??

If so, is there a more layman's guide than references to source code, CVS 
and recompiling kernels to accomplish this?

First, the OS does not appear to know it has the WCT11 installed, or if 
it's one of those assumed things and it's just looking for PCMCIA, well 
PCMCIA is not showing up in lsmod.
