Greetings all,

I hope this message gets through, as I am not subscribed.
No doubt you have tried, or at least heard of wireless portals such as
NoCatAuth and NoCatSplash, wsplash and wicap. Well I have tried them all...
and none of them worked well or didnt even work on FreeBSD. So inspired by
the simplicity of wicap, I wrote one for FreeBSD. It utilizes Perl to
manipulate ipfw rules. Apache is needed.
Right now there are not many features, for example no time limiting, no
proper authentication, and rules need to be flushed manually if required.
But it does its job well for now.
The idea is to show a User Agreement / TOS page before anyone can access the
internet.

Those who run their access points with FreeBSD, are encouraged to try it out
at http://www.myzona.net/opensplash. Comment are greatly welcome.

Thanks.
