specification of distributions, define distribution requirements, distro
matrix suggested

does anybody want to lead the dist specs?, what are the requirements for
an ap?

2. Requirements specification and compare existing distros

soekris hardware can run a captive portal in the access point, all in
one hardware, essentially 486+linux+radio card+runs host ip, possibly
going with minipci or pcmcia (some previous discussion on listserv)

he hears the consensus is for pcmcia, pcmcia cards are lower in cost

model 4521 includes two pcmcia slots, minipci and compact flash,

we're not the only ones to use this configuration, what type of compact
flash? like sandisk, flashed locally
