The area around Division and the south east 20's is thick with community
projects. There are food co-ops, artist spaces, and in keeping with the
coffee house as social flash point a couple of cafes. One of these is the
Red and Black Cafe on the south western corner of SE 22nd and Division.

Various groups use it as their meeting place, there is a stage that sees a
wide ranging run of events and there are tables and couches to plotz while
enjoy coffee and conversation. If you have the desire there are also two
terminals to get net access thanks to the good works of FreeGeek.

As of this afternoon this location has also become the host of the newest
PTP node. From inside its doors, the tables outside and for an unmapped
distance around, you will be able to get wireless access in all its glory.

Large PTP thanks go out to Keegan Quinn for prepping the Nucab, to Mike
Weinberg for making contact with folks there early on, to Aaron
Baer for saving the day with his network foo and for taking the
time to school me on the particulars of the day, to Richard Seymour from
FreeGeek for his help in making the node a reality as well as helping us
with the existing network there and most of all to all the owner/employees
at Red and Black for allowing us use of their bandwidth and a spot in
their establishment to put up the gear.

We owe a great deal to all the business owners who allow us use of their
resources, the home owners and apt dwellers who set up their gear as ptp
nodes, and all the folks who help educate others in the HowTo and goals
of the PTP's mission. So get out there and use the nodes, let the folks
hosting them know your thankful and help spread the word.
