Which was harmful? Did I miss the breaking in in the middle of the

That's a great idea for after OSCON. If we ask, and they say "please  
don't" then we've got a hurdle. If we just do it, and someone makes a  
fuss, we say "sorry, we were just trying to provide a demo." This is  
the type of thing that no one is liable to care about, unless it is  
presented to them in a way that makes them think "hmm, I should  
probably care about this. I should probably say no!"
