buffalo wireless and upcoming trip to portland

Hi all,

I wanted to thank you for your work in the area of community wireless 
networking and the resources that you've made available on-line.  I have 
been watching your efforts for a while and recently decided to start a 
similar project in Buffalo.

So far we have a web site, list serve, and "network map" (scare quotes 
necessary because we don't have a network yet) on-line at 
http://www.buffalowireless.org.  I'm writing because I wanted to let you 
know about our project, which I'm trying to model in many ways after the 
Personal Telco project and Seattle Wireless, and also because I will be 
in Portland soon (for reasons unrelated to community wireless 
networks).  I would very much like to meet with some of the active 
members of your project during my trip if possible (not sure if there is 
a normal meeting during this time), and perhaps see some of your network 
nodes.

Also, please let me know if I can be of any help to your group during 
the time I'll be in Portland, between Saturday June 16 and Tuesday June 
26.  Thanks again for the resources that you've made available and see 
you soon!
