Unfortunately unless the certificate authority is known to the browser has an approved source, it will throw the "warning". Which basically means, you need a certificate from GeoTrust, Network solutions, Thawte, etc. There have been a number of attempts at getting an opensource certificate authority going but without approval from the browser guys (Mozilla, Microsoft, and Apple) it'll never fly. I can provide GeoTrust SSL certs to PTP at cost, unfortunately that's still not free and there are cheaper options out there. > I also turned on wifidog at NodeDittos today, on another Buffalo > OpenWrt install I did recently (replacing a messed up nucab). > > We have 6 wifidog nodes now. > > > -- > Russell Senior, Secretary > [email protected] > > -- > The Personal Telco Project - http://www.personaltelco.net/ > Donate to PTP: http://www.personaltelco.net/donate > Un/Subscribe: http://lists.personaltelco.net/mailman/listinfo/ > general/ > Archives: http://news.gmane.org/ > gmane.network.wireless.portland.general/ > Etiquette: http://www.personaltelco.net/index.cgi/MailingListEtiquette > -- The Personal Telco Project - http://www.personaltelco.net/ Donate to PTP: http://www.personaltelco.net/donate Un/Subscribe: http://lists.personaltelco.net/mailman/listinfo/general/ Archives: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.network.wireless.portland.general/ Etiquette: http://www.personaltelco.net/index.cgi/MailingListEtiquette
