Thanks for the eyes and ears.  I got down there this evening and
swapped in a new access point, a Buffalo WHR-HP-54G.  Supposedly
higher transmit power than before.  It seemed to be working while I
was there.  I welcome any reports that agree or disagree (that's just
the way I am).
