> I am wondering if we could teach a class, but on what specifically? Yes, that's what I had in mind. Really, it'd be up to the teacher what the topic should be (are you volunteering? :)). I can give some ideas though: * Building a Cantenna * How to use our nodes are where they are * A curious citizens guide to the Metrofi-debacle * WiFi security: myths and best practices * How to be a good neighbor and share your wifi * General Q and A Or, even without teaching a class it'd be useful if someone(s) went and shook hands and let people know that PTP is interested in being part of endeavors towards community-based education in Portland (it's like a big part of the mission and stuff). Tom Higgins emailed me off-list saying that he's tied up this weekend or he'd otherwise go. So, can someone else step up? This is like tomorrow, though, so it'd be good if someone volunteered quickly... > On Nov 15, 2007 11:02 AM, Caleb Phillips <[email protected]> wrote: >> These folks are having a get-together.
