The above, now called BoxPopuli and previously called WebcastInABox, is 
a Portland company run by people [1] friendly to Personal Telco and 
other Portland-based non-profits. They donated a podcasting system to 
FreeGeek at least two years ago and are responsible for referring 
NodeFirstUnitarian to us. Their products are production ready today and 
have been for a couple years. I guess the key difference is that the 
CNET thing is streaming and their product is capture-then-post - at any 
rate the difference is probably not a show-stopper for most applications.

I talked with Chris a while back about hosting one of his podcasting 
devices at NodeUrbanGrind to podcast our meetings and other community 
events there. He was excited about this at the time, but didn't really 
know how to approach the UG (which was going through management turmoil 
at the time). Since then, they've released their podcast-in-a-box 
software for free [2], and you can download it and run it off a CD. So, 
we could build our own /podcasting/ appliances, using NuCabs, for free...
