While in Portland I had a setup similar to this. I used an old pc  
loaded with debian and two nics plus two ap's.  It worked perfectly in  
providing the two separate networks. Now if I recall correctly, and  
its been awhile, werent there a bunch of old pc's Tom was storing?   
Also, wouldn't funding some cheaper ap's be a good use of the budget?  
Just my 2 cents.
