Until recently, the only way TV engineers could obtain an accurate terrain-sensitive plot of a station's coverage was to buy an expensive program or pay a consultant to create the map. The excellent Web site tvfool.com (http://www.tvfool.com/) now provides Longley-Rice plots of station coverage over a Google Earth map, but the plot is based on the azimuth pattern in the FCC database and the generic OET-69 elevation pattern.
