The basic premise behind groups like SWN , the PTP and many of the FreeNetworks.org members is to help build and educate others to build FREE COMMUNITY WIRELESS Networks. Read that again. Slowly. Many of us are putting in tons of work to get folks connect at NO COST. Why? Because the tech and the economy is such that it is doable and its returns are an educated and informed community. Nickel and Dime operations get the same reaction as selling ice to an Eskimo or expecting sense form GW Bush. Making a strong empowered community trumps squeezing spare change from the populace.
