Re: Orinoco Silver/Gold firmware req.

Andrew, been a while since I saw a post from you, came across your 
information about Alchemy :)

Also noticed you'd done a bit more research than I did on the Orinoco cards, 
pleased to see I got a mention on the page :D

You might remember (long time ago now), I managed to locate some drivers, 
that at the time would make 'anybrand' card show up in device manager as 
'orinoco 5v etc' and there was some trick to that that I managed to upgrade 
the firmware using regular WUA program. I can get the card showing as 
Orinoco, but nothing much more.. I didn't at the time hexedit the WUA, 
although looks like I might need to..

Anyways, at the mo I got other problems, darn CD/DVD drive in this laptop 
has just decided to stop working! bah! Looks like I'm gonna have to strip it 
down and have a look, hexediting can wait, lol
