-] Michael, Peter, and I are now operating a node on the -] Tacoma Sounder. -] If you ride this train, take note to its operation times on the -] TacomaSounderNode wiki Hrm, my home on Scenic Hill in Kent has direct LoS to the sounder train for about 1 minute as it passes from Auburn into Kent. It'd be interesting if we could get more nodes along the rail line and experiment with "Tarzanning" from node to node and trying to keep internet sessions alive (similar to the way a cel phone jumps from tower to tower without dropping a call.) I guess it would be similar to mesh networking except that the internode links would traverse the internet if they weren't linked wirelessly. That would be a challenging routing problem.
