All the WRT54G and WRT54GS routers support WDS; whether you can use it
depends entirely on the firmware you have loaded. I use a WRT54G v1.0
connected in WDS mode to a WRT54G v2.0, both with 3rd party firmware.
Linksysinfo.org is a good source of info on the various firmware options
available for each version of the router, and it also has some good forums
for each firmware.
