My Orinoco Classic has gone deaf, so I need a new adapter that will work in monitor mode (Debian Sarge), and which has an external antenna plug. The website seems to be a bit out of date, as it recommends Orinoco and Cisco. Most Orinocos these days are used, and a new one fails after 2-3 years, so I don't want a used one. I haven't found any adapters with the new Atheros 6000 chipset. The Belkin/Netgear IMO cards work great, but: - No Linux driver; - No monitor mode; - External antenna would be problematic. What would be the most sensitive and most powerful adapter these days, which can do monitor mode, and has an external antenna plug? Best, Carl _______________________________________________ Dev mailing list [email protected] http://seattlewireless.net/mailman/listinfo/dev
