Don't get yourself in trouble...make sure this drill is approved by all the parties involved. Although he did "challenge" you, he may or may not have been serious. I give the same line to people who question my 128bit WEP/DMZ strategy...whether or not I actually mean it, im really not certain. For software, I would suggest looking for the Whoppix or WHAX ISO and using a prism 2 card if you want something quick. Your success (or time to success) will depend on number of weak IV's. This can make the crack time the same for "64bit" or "128bit". Traffic volume does not matter, because you can stimulate all sorts of traffic using a handful of replay tools. If there are no weak IV's found, you will have to resort to statistical analysis. This can take some time. > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of > Franklin S Werren > Sent: Saturday, February 25, 2006 1:37 PM > To: SeattleWireless Talk List; SeattleWireless Development List > Subject: Prove a Point!! > > Hi All; > > A local <quote>IT Specialist</quote> installed a new Linksys > Router on to one of my commercial customers locations using > WEP at 64 bit and he basically told me ....
