There was an article in QST  few months ago. It was about experiments with
long distance WiFi link. If  I remember correctly the major problem with
Wi-Fi link over such a distance is not the lack of the antenna gain but
rather delays that standard Wi-Fi hardware is not designed to account for.
IMHO 24db is plenty of gain for the purpose and stacking is not really
necessary.
