Re: Resellable DSL

It is ironic that the population of the city, once aggregated
into a market such as Internet, phone, or cable TV subscribers,
are a valuable, saleable commodity by the corporations to
advertisers or content providers of various types.

It is ironic furthermore that all of us, directly or indirectly,
own our premises and have no impediments at all to
connecting with adjacent premises or joining together
to become large aggregates of customers.   The cost
of the equipment is absolutely trivial compared to past
decades and in any case, the costs of telcos and cablecos
are fundamentally different, because they had to battle
their way inch-by-inch across properties and rights of
way they did NOT own,
