I think he means what hardware version (i.e. 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 2.2). I've used a v1.0 with Satori and v2.0 boxes with Satori and Alchemy, and a v2.2 box with the DD-WRT release 20 firmware. I'd suggest a v2.0 if you can find it because it'll support more of the older firmwares, but going forwards it doesn't really matter much.
