Hello all, I have been in Italy since late October living in Sestri
Levante, a little town on the Italian Riviera. Its about 30 km south of
Genova.
I finally got dsl last Friday having signed up a few days before xmas.
There is no wireless here. at least not in the winter.
I intend to be here till April, then will go to Greece for for a couple of
weeks for the Greek Easter holiday with friends. Then to Pulia for a couple
of weeks with friends. Then to Croatia for a month or so, on the Dalmation
coast.
I plan to set up a wireless node here soon. I don't speak/read Italian so
things go slowly.
We have a 4 bedroom apt. on the beech so visitors are welcome. So far we
have had My 2 sons + #1 sons' girlfriend and my wifes' mother as guests
from the states. + friends from Pulia and we are expecting a friend from
Greece. The weather has been cold. The food and wine is wonderful.
I just checked out the nodedb map { thanks} and there is very little in
Italy. But a lot in Greece. Olympics?
We plan to be back in Seattle in early Aug. as my older son is getting
married. Then we are planning to move to Port Townsend.
