I do not know about you but this site has all sorts of boxes
http://www.budcocable.com/  and I have 2 different types in service
in some real cold weather... Boxes are ok I just had one
wap54g that does not like below 0 weather.....

Boxes are 4-8 dollars us plus shippment
There used in the cable industry.....
They do have metal boxes... pay more though.....
