There is a good possibility that the owners of the former Redhook Brewery now the chocolate factory and "tribal gathering spot" would grant roof-access or a mast, for a long-term wireless site. Physically the site is so large that the possibility of multiple, directional feeds on opposite sides might be possible. The gathering spot is at 3400 Phinney http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?searchtype=address&address=3400+Phinney+Ave+N&city=seattle&state=wa The gathering spot is off the upper-left corner of this map. http://www.seattlewireless.net/index.cgi/LakeUnion There is frequent live entertainment and political lectures, panel discussions etc. in the gathering spot. So, there might be potential volunteer workers or maybe money donors in the surrounding fremont/ballard, or that additional nodes will appear. What's needed are technical volunteers and some people donating money for the gear. If it was in my neighborhood I'd help with it.
