AIR-CB20A idea/question

Hi all, I recently came into 8 AIR-CB20A cards - PCMCIA. I took one apart to see if I could solder a pigtail to it so I could use it in a point to point project. I am a little lost. Does anyone know about these 802.11a cards - can they be modified to be hooked to an external antenna. The install antenna on the card has two big square pads and two circular looking things that I could not identify. Ray Raymond E.
