Webcam, GPS, etc. I imagine you pay a bit extra for the stripped down functionality as well. There are a lot of people selling EVDO->WiFi setups in pelican cases and custom boxes now. They don't generally make the geek-news sites, and there's a reason. "Consumer buys Product!" doesn't make a good headline. Casey's TacomaTrainNode is extremely similar to this, but because he built it himself, has different features and it is cool in different ways. By adding the IM buddy list to the portal, it's created a social environment where before there was only 'free internet'. Providing free net to the nerd-herd on the train is cool, but getting them to interact is much more interesting. I would much rather see people getting social than know where Tor's car is honestly. Tor touches on some of this in his 'Possible Applications', but for the most part, it's a homemade lojack. Tor pimped his ride, and that is cool, but Casey has created a chunk of cyberspace that only commuters on his car get to fully experience.
