Exactly. Why can't everyone learn how to use a spectrum analyzer? :) It is really true that it ends up turning into the equivalent of the CB band. I wish there was some sort of requirement to coordinate unlicensed channels in at least an ad-hoc way. I know of a frequency coordination setup in LA but I am not sure how effective it is. I think this would be an exercise in frustration. Due diligence with knowledgeable folks correctly using spectrum analyzers would have gone a long way to alleviate the current congestion. And that's the only way to be sure interference is not an issue. As we know, each installation is unique and has nothing to do with theoretical components. Multipath?
