Bridge mode DWL-1000AP+

Hi to everybody,

I 'm new in the list and I have already a question. :)

In a wireless LAN I have two DWL-1000AP+.
One is in Wireless Bridge mode, and the second one is in the
Multi-point Bridge mode.
The APs work fine, but when I sniff the traffic (with ethereal) I see
strange packets: the AP in wireless bridge mode sends broadcast UDP
packets (dest 255.255.255.255) with source port 27156 and destination
port 27157.
Each packet has 6 bytes for source MAC address and 2 bytes with unknown
meaning. The problem is that the packets are sent 1 per second and are
routed to the network (flood!!).

I tried with different firmware 1.18 and 1.22b3 (downloaded from
italian dlink website), but the behaviour is the same.

I asked to d-link support, but nobody answered me.

Can someone help me?
The sending of packets is indispensable? If not, how can I stop it?

Thanks.
Dan
