Daniel, I've never heard of "GPRS" but to the best of my understanding the technology being used for all cellular Internet access services is EVDO (even though they call their plans by a different name). At this point you to be aware of the fact that here in SE Iowa, I can't even get PCS yet, so my information is limited only to the sales hype and my interpretation of that info. BUT, from what I've read, I'd be happy with the 440kbps on EVDO. That's more than I'd honestly expected it to be. Since the sales literature didn't quote any expected stats I figured their hype was based against dialup not against TRUE broadband. In short, I'd be VERY leery of any plan that is not put in writing. On a side note, I'd have MANY questions and want to see a live demo or two (best to get there in time to watch them setup the demo) before I would even consider EVDO. My 2cents.
