The stores across from the Olive Garden are Compusave and PC Club. Of the two, I've had the best luck with Compusave. There is a place by the mall next to Sleep Country USA (I think that is the small PC shop that Devin is speaking of) in a small strip mall near the bus barn for the Edmonds School district. There is also a Compusave on 196th and Highway 99, a little south of there in front of what used to be the Lynn Four theatre (which is now World Concern). I think that is the road. I just know from my house, I drive up 35th in Lake Forest Park - it turns into another road, I cross under I5 and take a Right at the first light....I believe it is alderwood mall pkwy. It is on the Left before you hit the mall. I'd give that a shot, they tend to be a few months behind everyone else. Oh..nearly forgot. There are also 2 different mom/pop type shops right next to the sprint store on 196th in Lynnwood (Across the street from Olive Garden) Hope that helps :P Devin -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ric Sent: Thursday, June 23, 2005 9:29 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Recommended PCMCIA Cards and Local Vendors I have been having a heck of a time finding a wireless card that will work with kismet. I've looked at the recommeded hardware list, but the vendors seem to change the chipsets without letting you know. Can anyone recommend a card and a local vendor where I can purchase it? I've been to the bigger placed like Bestbuy and Circuit City and non of their cards were on the list except the WPC11, but its the version 4 :( BTW, I am the Lynnwood area so any small shops would be great!
