Sorry for the late reply but I just noticed the continuation of this thread... If you haven't already purchased a WETxx, I would suggest you get a WRT54G or GS and use one of the third party firmwares to run it either in WDS mode to another WRT54G/GS router or in client/bridging mode to any wireless router/AP. You'll get the benefit of hardware that'll be flexible for other functions if you decide to re-arrange your network, and it probably won't cost much more, if anything, either.
