Accel Net, Inc. is looking for an entry-level Field Technician. Basic requirements are: 1. At least 25 years old (our insurance company's requirement--might be waived depending on driving experience and record) 2. Handy with tools and a good mechanical aptitude 3. Working knowledge of PCs, including hardware and software installation 4. Knowledge of TCP/IP and general networking principles; experience with routing a plus. 5. Linux experience useful 6. Position requires working off ladders, roofs, antenna towers, etc.--previous climbing experience a plus 7. Knowledge of wireless networking a plus (Accel Net deploys FCC Part 15 equipment as well as licensed microwave installations) The position entails: 1. Installation of point-to-point and point-to-multipoint microwave radio systems 2. Troubleshooting networking and radio issues 3.
