ShmooCon 2006 Shameless Plug

   Howdy Talk List,

    Been a while since I have posted, so what better way to start  
then with some spam.

    We are accepting talk proposals for ShmooCon 2006. If you have  
something interesting you would
    like to present on, this conference is a good venue.

    In addition registration is only $75 until Oct. 1st at which  
point it will double. If you register and end up
   getting a talk accepted, your registration will be refunded.

    ShmooCon ( http://www.shmoocon.org) 2006 will be January 13-15th  
at the
    Wardman Park Marriott in downtown DC.   In a nutshell, ShmooCon is a
    2.5 day security conference in the heart of DC offering an  
interesting
    atmosphere for demonstrating technology exploitation, inventive
    software & hardware solutions, as well as open discussion of  
critical
    information security issues.

    For those that missed the first ShmooCon last year, it was a blast.
    We run ShmooCon on a cost recovery basis only and any money left  
over
    goes towards next years con and charities like the EFF and Red  
Cross.
    We're not making money, just trying to help build up the security
    community.
