I do indeed agree with you there. If I were looking at 500mw, I would be looking at it for a fairly lengthy point-to-point shot. For my particular environment, a full 100mw do just fine as I already have a good high gain antenna placed in the "sweet" spot. Just need a bit more power than I have now to get in the nooks and crannies =) Regards, Alex K. In other words, don't flood the spectrum with 500mW if a higher gain antenna or better placement of the AP would improve performance just the same. Just my .02.
