Senao CB3's gone dead

I have a couple CB3's which are basically dead, I changed them to access point mode and after it rebooted I tried changing the essid. After saving the CB3 no longer responds to anything. The Power led is on and the wlan light blinks every 8 seconds or so, lan led is off. Tried resetting to no avail. Anyone else have this problem ???
