I take that this with either the

PC 5740 http://dts.vzw.com/index.html?m=Verizon%20Wireless&p=1821 which
claims to support Macintosh with a pcmcia slot.

How does the VZAccess Manager software work?

I wasn't able to download the driver software, is there an NDIS driver
for this card? Do you think it could run under ndiswrapper (on linux)?

or

Unless one is a current verizon customer and I use the term loosely, it
doesn't look like a good option. They aim for a 2yr lockin plus the
"terms of service" pretty much state, "do anything we don't like and we
terminate your service"

The current best solution would seem to be smartphone+external
antenna+usb cable to laptop (linux or ibook).

Though, I haven't heard any reports of these folks getting kicked from
verizon evdo

Has anyone here made a stompbox with an EVDO card in it?
