WLAN USB adapter for OS X?

I've read in several places that the D-Link DWL-G122 will work with OS X 
if one downloads and installs the 2500 series Mac drivers from Ralink. 
Not being fond of D-Link of late, are there any other known USB devices 
that use the same chipset and will work with these drivers? I have an 
older G3 iBook (no PC card slot) and would rather not pay what the 
original Airport card sells for on eBay these days.
