Other than the $1,000 that the CEO gave to Congressman Reichert (his 
representative) in April of 2006, no, actually. I'm not sure if they have a 
PAC (couldn't find one, but didn't look hard), but tbh, I was giving d.g. the 
benefit of the doubt. I assumed that a company of that size does, as he 
implied, what most companies end up doing when they realize they could use 
the support of a few elected officials.

Yes, you're right. Almost every big business is guilty of the same thing. I 
think the keyword here is 'guilty'. Of course, doing without, or paying more 
to patron one of the 'other' businesses, is absurd.
