Gary, (and SW List) You might want to take a look at http://www.tradepub.com/ . Tradepub is a 3rd party subscription consolidator for industry trade data. They have 1000's of trade magazines, whitepapers, rss feeds, email newsletters and tons of other stuff. So once you find a few (or tons like me) of mags it is rather easy to fill out the subscription forms. It doesn't auto fill out all the data which would be great, but it is handy to find pubs that are hard to find elsewhere. Tip: Make sure you have auto-complete or some other form helper enabled in your browser for at least this site when you are filling out the subscription forms. They tend to be rather long. Guess that's the "cost" of free info. ;> Or I use like a notepad to use as a cut/paste scratch pad. I hate typing the same data zillions of times. Tradepub doesn't publish or decide who qualifies for any of the stuff you apply for, they just consolidate a bunch of products. Here is a list of some I like and find of value. RCR Wireless News http://www.tradepub.com/free/rcr Mission Critical Communications http://www.tradepub.com/free/mcc/ SC Magazine http://www.tradepub.com/free/scmg/ (IT Security) Network World http://www.tradepub.com/free/nw/ Cabling Installation & Maintenance http://www.tradepub.com/free/cim I hope this helps you (or others) find what your looking for. See here; not all Republicans are bad. ;) http://www.wi-fiplanet.com/news/print.php/3649831 Has anyone heard if this deadlock's been broken? Also, what do folks here tend to read for wireless news? Wi-Fi Net News and W-Fi Planet seem pretty well rounded but at times sporadic. A mobile phone provider I worked for a few years ago used to sub to a pile of industry news services that I wish I still had access to. Perhaps I'm just not finding the right RSS feed. Any suggestions? -Gary _______________________________________________ Talk mailing list [email protected] http://seattlewireless.net/mailman/listinfo/talk _______________________________________________ Talk mailing list [email protected] http://seattlewireless.net/mailman/listinfo/talk
