My idea is to use coax like 2 meters long, insert it into martybugs' copper pipe concept. That would make it as rigid as martybugs' 40 centimeter long coax terminated by N connector. As far as I understood you, your "rigid pipe" concerns were of mechanical durability nature, whereas my question was rather about highfrequency impedantial properties of N connector.
