Thanks, Matt. As you may know, there's been some recent discussion of 
whether or not the Nanoshation 2 and other 4 MB flash Ubiquiti devices 
might run Robin for mesh networking,
e.g.,. the last few messages here:

Sounds as if there's some potential for it.

Robix / x86 Robin on a Metrix Mark I board

Robix normally is set to run off a CD or hard drive. Would it just need 
small tweaks (I'm not very experienced in regard to use of dd) to get it 
to work off a soldered-on flash device or is it likely to be somewhat 
complicated?
