Shoot. I've been waffling on running my 15 dbi antenna via LMR-400 out
my crawlspace attic or just waiting to buy a bullet to replace my Proxim
AP-700. I have an NS2 in a corner of my basement that gets lousy
reception. It just happens to be the same corner that my TV and Roku
N1000 are situated but my NS2 is bridging the link quite well. It feels
underutilized, though, so I may have to do the math and figure out which
one's got better signal; .25W amp plus 15dBi antenna plus 63 mW for the
AP-700. The bullet's 1W so that might still give me better coverage than
what I've got now... hrm. Re Ubquiti firmware, AirOS -- I love the live
the throughput graphs. Does the 2.4 "pro" version of DD-WRT have
anything equivalent?
