Newbie

 Hi: I just joined. screen name Perky. Didn't have computers when I
grew up and now playing catch-up. Use a Mac G3 power book running OSX
with internal wifi card.
Want to learn how to configure internet connections with different
card (s)  to be used with antenna or (Cantena) to  pick up signal from
further away and perhaps boast or repeat.
Also planning to drive across country this spring and wish to stay
connected along the way.
Will try to come to a Wed nite meeting but sometimes have to work
evenings or stop inthe store. Thanks and hope to hear from or see some
