usability of the wwwoffle web configurator

Yes i remeber it was discussed before, but isn't usability just
something that has to be reviewed from time to time ?

Whenever i ad a URL to the config using the web configurator,
i note 2 things:

1) we have to issue a config re-reading; but wouldn't it be also 
convenient to make automatic re-read the default ? To me, this would
be just intuitivly. And what is the point in stalling it - if i'm going to make 
multiple changes then it still would be desireable to instantly see, after 
each change, if the syntax was correct....no ?

2) but that's only a style question, an option to forego the comment 
inserted for each modification ( (# WWWOFFLE Configuration Edit ...)
I use to delete those because the file's long enough anyway. 
Yes I see the point in control/debug info. 
But can't that decision be left to the admin ?
